Well that's it for another year. It's been a full on week with big breezes. We had our Bronze Fleet out sailing in 20+ kts which was great to see. 

Team AUS really showed us how it was done these last couple of days. But Cesar Smet and Emile Mariem from Belgium were the consistent team and won the Open Championships. Congratulations to Alex Page and Aaron Chadwick on becoming the UK National Champions!

Wow. What a day on the water today! Blowing hard in Portland. Gold and Silver fleets only and lots taking a swim!  All rescue ribs were flat out and worked hard including making room for the Royal Navy to complete their manoeuvres. We managed 2 races with some awesome sailing from our youngsters. Team AUS showed us a clean pair of heals and won both races comfortably!! Still all to play for. Similar conditions forecast for tomorrow so watch this space!

Well, no sailing today Bertha took care of that! Try again tomorrow. Wind looking better although still breezy. All down for an early start and will try and get back some list races. 

Great start to the Nationals. Team Belgium are showing us the way round! The race committee got 3 races in today just in case tomorrow's weather comes as forecast. Well done to Joris and Jan with 2 bullets a 2nd and a 4th. Great job boys!

Only 2 sleeps until the Nationals! Who's excited? Who's seen the wind forecast. 😱. Going to be fun!!
